B-C), reach the luxurious principality of MONACO, where you will discover the old town and enjoy the Cathedral, the Monte-Carlo Casino, the Grand Prix circuit and exterior visit to the Prince's Palace. A coast drive by Villefranche, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat will take you to NICE, the capital of the French Riviera. Discover the popular seaside street Promenade des Anglais. Thiery was a terrific...

Thiery was a terrific guide. Made for a wonderful experience and despite the rain late in the afternoon got us back to our cruise ship on time. Met us at the tender exit just as promised.

Not to Hurried for all the Stops We Made - Great Day

Wonderful tour with Ben. I was afraid that this tour would be too rushed but it really did not feel that way. First stop was Nice to see an impressive farmers market full of flowers, produce, cheese, herbs, hand milled soaps, etc. I wish we had been able to see this during lunch time because there were so many cute restaurants in this area. Next Eze which was so beautiful and medieval. We were able to get an espresso after touring the grounds before seeing Monaco where we had lots of time to see the changing of the guards, the Saint Nicholas Cathedral where Princess Kelly is buried and get an incredible lunch. Monte Carlo was next where the very rich park their yachts and play at the Monte Carlo Casino. We saw a little of the Cannes area on our way back to the ship where the film festival is held. Very enjoyable day. We are looking forward to vising France in the future and will definitely be hitting Nice.

Excellent Tour

Thierry Quillet was a superb guide. His knowledge and explanations were excellent. His driving skills got us close to everywhere we went. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this excellent tour.;

Nice, France to Italian Border town

2022 March- took the train from Nice to the Italian town on the border. Train was packed on a Sunday mid- day. Elevator at the destination station not running and I had to climb many stairs to get to exit. I use a cane and have knee problems. Station staff not able( willing) to run elevator. On return trip similar problem only we were able to locate a security person to help us access the platform needed. When in Italy we enjoyed a freshly made pasta at a cute bistro. All the shops were closed ( Sunday and religious reasons) until Monday at 10 am. It was a lovely scenic trip back to Nice with less crowding and window access.

Beautiful location, not a great tour guide

First off, the trip was supposed to be 7 hours but was 6–maybe a change from our ship. Either way we were promised perfume factory which was squashed. Next, our guide seemed only half interested. Didn’t even tell us all his name. Then, suggested we could tour the castle in Monaco—to find out it was closed! Didn’t tell us that Princess Grace remains were in the church he dropped us at—only to find that out later! Didn’t narrate much at all and just dropped us and picked us up.
